Gesha or Geisha is named for a town in Ethiopia. This varietal was brought to Latin America, particularly Panama. Since the early 2000's, this varietal has gained notoriety for its unique flavor profile. It leaves you with an exceptional floral aroma unlike any coffee you are used to. Consequently, it costs more than other coffees but also scores higher at cupping.
